We are currently recruiting for a Fabricator and two MIG Welders to join our client's team in Rotherham.
These are great opportunities for candidates with previous fabrication or MIG welding experience looking for stable, long-term employment.
Duties will include
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Measuring, marking out and preparing materials.
- Cutting, shaping and assembling metal components.
- Using workshop tools and fabrication equipment.
- Ensuring finished work meets required specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Carrying out MIG welding on mild steel.
- Welding components and fabrications using 6mm and 8mm materials.
- Following welding specifications and drawings where required.
- Checking weld quality and ensuring a good standard of finish.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working area.
- The welding work is relatively straightforward, so candidates do not need experience with highly complex fabrications.
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
- Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
Pay
- £18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fabrication or MIG welding.
- Ability to work with metal materials, particularly 6mm and 8mm.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.
- A positive attitude and good work ethic.
