About the Role
- We are an agency recruiting on behalf of a leading cleaning company seeking reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaning Operatives to join their specialist team.
- This role involves working across retail sites nationwide, carrying out a range of specialist external and industrial cleaning duties, including cleaning external cladding, signage and guttering, pressure washing, high-level cleaning and warehouse cleaning. The role will also involve light grounds maintenance, including hedge trimming and general outdoor upkeep.
- You will work as part of a two-person team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning external cladding, signage and guttering to a professional standard
- Pressure washing and high-level cleaning
- Warehouse and general industrial cleaning
- Carrying out light grounds maintenance, including hedge trimming and general outdoor upkeep
- Working safely at height where required (full training provided if necessary)
- Travelling to sites across the UK, often staying away from home
- Working predominantly unsociable hours, including nights and early mornings
- Maintaining equipment and adhering to health & safety regulations
- Representing the company professionally on client sites
- Working effectively as part of a two-person team
What We’re Looking For
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Willingness to work unsociable hours on a regular basis
- Flexibility to travel nationwide and stay away from home
- Comfortable working outdoors and carrying out physical/manual duties
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
- Previous cleaning, grounds maintenance, landscaping or outdoor/manual work experience is beneficial but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred
What’s on Offer
- £30,000 basic salary
- Quarterly bonus – OTE £32,000–£34,000
