Winner Recruitment are currently looking for reliable Night Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution operation in Sheffield.
The role involves loading and unloading vehicles, handling goods and helping to ensure deliveries are prepared safely and efficiently throughout the night.
Duties include:
- Loading and unloading double-deck trunk vehicles
- Loading and unloading flatbed vehicles
- Handling steel bars, pallets and other goods
- Moving stock around the warehouse and yard
- Preparing vehicles for delivery
- General warehouse duties
- Following health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet nightly deadlines
Experience
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience would be beneficial.
- Experience using Counterbalance FLT, overhead cranes would also be an advantage, although training can be provided for the right person.
The ideal candidate:
- Is reliable and punctual
- Has a good work ethic
- Is comfortable with physical/manual work
- Can work well as part of a team
- Has good attention to detail
- Is available to work permanent night shifts
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 00:00 – 09:00Pay: £13.70 per hour
